Airfry Spam Musubi

If you love Spam This Japanese-Hawaiian food fusion is characterized by its sweet and salty taste. It’s also super easy to create, which means anyone who has no background in cooking can definitely recreate this recipe.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup Sushi Rice (rice + 1 tbsp sushi vinegar)
  • 2 sheets Nori seaweed
  • 2 slices Spam

Musubi Marinade

  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pineapple juice

Instructions
 

  • Mix the brown sugar, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl.
  • Put the musubi sauce mixture with spam into ziploc. Marinade for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat Airfryers 180 C for 3 minutes. Airfry 180 C for 8 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking.
  • Assemble sushi rice by using Musubi maker, if not you can use cling wrap and mold sushi rice on top the empty Spam can.
  • Put the nori strip on a clean board then place your sushi rice in the middle. Add the airfry spam on top the rice then roll the nori to close it. If needed use little water to seal it.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
